Central Washington Ag Museum “Tuesday Crew” –
Painting a 1942 International Cab.

Report & photos by Clay Graham / CegPics.com

Odo has been working on getting a 1942 International K6 cab ready for paint. He primered it last Tuesday. Today he sanded the cab and shot paint on it. I took a photo of the chassy, fenders and grill to show what the cab will go on.

Steve has been working on a John Deere Crawler. Today it was pulled in half. He told me the clutch and brake pedals were froze together. He got everything broke loose and was waiting parts.

Kent worked on removing a sickle mower from a 1947? Leader since the tractor did not have a way to run it anymore.

As we were there, a semi truck with a brand new John Deere excavator came in and picked up a very old Avery tractor. I was told it was heading to the Mid-west to it’s new owner. Not sure if the two pieces of equipment are going to the same place.

Volunteers are always needed at the Central Washington Ag Museum if you would like to help.

CWAM – Painting & working on Equipment

Report & photos by Clay Graham / CegPics.com

Today September 14th 2022, we went to the Central Washington Ag Museum to get some stuff done we didn’t finish the day before. Odo painted a tractor wheel he had ready.

Next Odo pressure washed a KW truck frame and then painted it.

Others worked on tractors and a portable welder.

We taped off an old truck cab Odo is going to paint next Tuesday.

Photos: Central Washington Ag Museum “Tuesday Crew” – Tire Mounting, Moving Tractors, Crawler Tracks

Central Washington Ag Museum “Tuesday Crew” – Here are a few photos taken today as we volunteered.

Report & photos by Clay Graham / CegPics.com

We changed out a tire on a rim by hand since the tire machine doesn’t work on dually rims. We put the tractors from the parade away. Odo cleaned up a tractor rim and got it ready for paint. We then worked on putting tracks back on a crawler.

Volunteers are always needed at the Central Washington Ag Museum if you would like to help.

Tractor Parade through Harrah
Hosted by Central Washington Antique Farm Equipment Club
Report & photos by Clay Graham / CegPics.com

Around 8:30 AM on Saturday September 10th 2022, the Central Washington Antique Farm Equipment Club convoyed with tractors from the Central Washington Agricultural Museum in Union Gap to Harrah and joined their parade. There were thirteen tractors that were driven in the convoy and one was on a trailer.

After about a thirteen mile drive we got to the Harrah Parade staging area in the north edge of town around 10 AM. Two more tractors joined us there. The parade started at 11 AM and we were number 13 in the parade line up. From the staging area we slowing drove in the parade through town and then parked at the Fire Station. The club got a trophy from the Harrah Parade.

After the parade we had lunch and then headed back to the Central Washington Agricultural Museum.

This was a fun time thanks to all who came.
