Picking Up A Massey Harris From Estate Sale

On Sunday June 9th, 2024, we helped Kent pick up a Massey Harris he bought at the Hidden Treasures Estate Sales. It was stuck in gear, so Bill had to hold the clutch down. The steering was also frozen so we had to use a bar to turn the front wheels as Kent winched the tractor on the trailer.

There is a lot of old farm equipment and other items for sale at the Hidden Treasures Estate Sales Moxee event this weekend. Some members of the Central Washington Antique Farm Equipment Club plan to go. Some have already bought some equipment. Working on Odo’s Ford 650 Tractor

Around 10 AM on Wednesday May 22nd, 2024, Kent came over and helped Calvin, AKA Odo work on working his Ford 650. Kent got the carburetor working right. They put the dust cover on the distributor we ordered. The hydraulics were not working. Kent bled the system and Odo cleaned the rust off the lift cylinders. The tractor is now working. Odo is now putting the rest of the parts on the tractor. He still needs to fix the rear tires and hopefully he can use the tractor in the Harrah Parade.

On Saturday May 18 2024 the Central Washington Antique Farm Equipment Club had their third meeting of the year at the Corrals in Fullbright Park. The board meeting started at 11 AM, a potluck at noon, and then the General meeting at 1 PM. A lot of business was done.

Starting Odo’s Ford 650 Tractor

Around 10 AM on Wednesday May 8th, 2024 Kent came to Graham Family Farm and helped Calvin, AKA Odo work on starting his Ford 650. A few thing wrong were the valves were to tight, the plugs were bad, the timing was off, and the carburetor wasn’t working right. A dust cover was missing on the distributor too. We ordered it.

Kent took the carburetor home to fix it. He opened the it up and all he seen wrong was the main jet was almost all the way closed. That is probably the problem.

This project will be worked on more on another day.

On Friday August 18th 2023 volunteers worked on helping vendors find their spaces for the Swap Meet part of the Pioneer Power Show. We even filled a dunk tank with the water truck we put together this year.
